Hi everyone! I'm really excited to hear your speeches today. My goal as a judge is simple: reward speakers who are engaging, clear, and confident. I love speeches that make me think, teach me something new, or make me laugh. If you can show strong effort in your performance, you're doing great.

Here are some notes for the events I will be judging at today's tournament:
Spar:
Flow judge. Tech > Truth. I will only evaluate what is explicitly said during the debate. Im open to any argument as long as its clearly warranted and logically explained. Collapsing into one substantial impact story and weighing by world to world comparison will result in high rankings. Speak at a reasonable speed and be respectful to your competitors.

Storytelling:
I especially appreciate vivid characters, expressive delivery, and strong narrative flow that pulls the audience into the story. The more alive and immersive the story feels, the better.For ranking, I'll focus on clarity, creativity, organization, and overall delivery. I also appreciate speakers who take risks and bring personality to the stagedon't be afraid to have fun with it!
