Speech and Debate Tournament Software Pricing
Coaches and schools register for free. Tournament directors pay for the FTN service, with pricing based on the schools that attend.
FTN brings registration, scheduling, tabulation, electronic ballots, and results together, with support included. Use FTN for speech, debate, and other event types, held in person, online, or asynchronously.

FTN does not charge coaches or schools to register.
Coaches can create accounts and register competitors at no charge from FTN. Each tournament sets its own registration fees. If you pay those fees by credit card through FTN, the processing fees below apply unless the tournament covers the school’s fee.

Tournament directors pay for FTN service. Optional video rooms and credit card processing have separate charges, detailed below.

Optional FTNVideo rooms
An additional $2 per competitor and $2 per judge.
Add integrated FTNVideo rooms for live online competition. A $50 minimum applies to the combined tournament service and FTNVideo charges.
You can also use your own video conferencing service. FTN does not charge an additional video fee for that option; any charges from your video provider are separate.
Optional credit card payments
Let schools pay tournament registration fees directly through FTN. Payment processing fees are separate from the tournament service fee.

Cover the school’s processing fee
Directors can choose to cover the school’s processing fee. Schools then pay no added card processing fee, and the tournament pays a combined 9.0% on those payments.
Tournament registration payments collected through FTN are paid out through Melio Payments within 5–7 business days after your tournament. If you haven’t set up Melio Payments, you’ll receive an email from Melio asking how you’d like to be paid.
