Foothill College cordially invites you to attend the Spring Owl Invitational held at our campus in Los Altos Hills, California on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2026.

As a reminder - only High School competitors will be allowed to enter from other schools. Middle School is being run as an internal tournament. 

The deadline for entries is Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:59PM PST, but we strongly encourage people to enter early.

 

DROP DEADLINE: Saturday, April 18, 2026, 11:59 PST.

FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE: Monday, April 20, 2026, 11:59 PM.

LINCOLN DOUGLAS DEBATE WILL BE DOUBLE FLIGHTED!

SPAR - Arrive no later than 8:00 AM

Speech (Impromptu or Declamation or Informative or Assigned Platform)- Arrive at least 1 hour early

All LD competitors will be debating NSDA March-April topic - Resolved: The United States military ought to abide by the principle of non-intervention.

EVENT RULES 

SPAR - SPAR Debate will follow the NOF Guidelines, found here.

All other events will follow NSDA guidelines.

FEES: $129 per entry

JUDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A qualified judge should be provided for every 6 entries or fraction thereof in individual events. 

  • A qualified judge should be provided for every 2 entries or fraction thereof in LD.

  • A qualified judge should be provided for every 10 entries or fraction thereof in Congressional Debate.  

  • Judge pools are separate; no judge may cover more than one obligation per day.
