Hello everyone! We are excited for this weekend’s NCFA Spring Championship Tournament!

 

Now that registration has closed, you will be able to make drops on your own through tomorrow, and we will allow (and welcome) any judge adds. Please notify the tournament of any ADA requirements and update your judging paradigms for debate. 

 

Nominations are open for the Student Fellowship Award! Students, coaches, all can nominate. This closes on Saturday 2/21 at 5pm. https://forms.gle/bv9nf8fkdL6WA2m6A

 

Here is some quick info that may be helpful as you plan your weekend.

  1. Location Information

    1. Parking: Any B lot (best options are 4, 2, 7, and 6)

    2. TAB/Registration: John T Chambers 101

    3. Extemp Prep: Benerd School of Education 118

    4. IPDA Prep: Raymond Great Hall

  2. Food:

    1. Snacks and light breakfast items each morning Benerd.

    2. Lunch is provided with the cost included in registration fees, in Raymond Great Hall.

    3. During morning registration, come pick up your goodie bag and let us know how many in your group will be eating with us each day so we can adjust your cost. (FTN currently calculator 3 meal fees per person, but that might not be the case for your team)

    4. Saturday is Panda Express, and Sunday is Pizza. Please let me know if there are food allergies that need to be addressed. Saturday and Sunday lunch will be set up in Raymond Great Hall across from Main Gymnasium and Wendell Phillips Center.

  3. Judging:

    1. Thank you for pulling in as many judges as possible! If you have new judges, please make sure they have access to training and are willing to ask questions of other judges/coaches.

  4. Awards: 

    1. Awards will begin ASAP following Pattern B Finals Sunday in the DeRosa University Center Ballroom.

    2. Wear your best! We will have a photographer and backdrop for pics.
